本作「うたかたの夢」は、儚く移ろうイメージの断片を重ね合わせることで構成されている。
厚く置かれた色彩は、形になりきる直前の存在のように浮かび上がり、互いに接続しながらも固定された輪郭を持たない。花や植物、人物、風景の断片を思わせながら、それらは明確な像へと収束することなく、流動的な状態のまま存在している。
絵具の物質感は、夢や記憶の曖昧さと対照的に強い存在感を持ち、一瞬現れては消えていく感覚を画面に留めている。
タイトルの「うたかたの夢」は、泡のように儚く消えていくものを意味する。同時に本作は、消えていくからこそ強く知覚される瞬間や感情を映し出している。

“Ephemeral Dream” is constructed through layered fragments of fleeting and shifting imagery.
Thick applications of paint emerge like forms that exist just before becoming fully recognizable. While the elements connect with one another, they never settle into fixed outlines. Hints of flowers, plants, figures, and landscapes appear throughout the composition, yet remain fluid rather than resolving into a single image.
The material presence of the paint contrasts with the ambiguity of dreams and memory, capturing sensations that appear only briefly before fading away.
The title “Ephemeral Dream” refers to something fragile and transient, like bubbles disappearing in an instant. At the same time, the work reflects how moments and emotions can become more intensely felt precisely because they cannot last.
