本作「Divine Comedy」は、ダンテの『神曲』から着想を得て制作された作品である。
画面を構成する無数の断片は、それぞれ異なる質感や濃淡を持ちながら交差し、積み重なっている。白と黒のあいだに広がる階調は、光と闇、秩序と混沌、希望と不安といった相反する状態を内包している。
それぞれの断片は、人生の中で通過していく景色や経験のようでもあり、人が変化しながら進み続ける時間の層を示している。線によって分割されながらも、それらは完全に分離されることなく、一つの大きな流れの中で接続され続けている。
タイトルが示すように、本作には「人はさまざまな状態や景色を経て、どこへ向かっていくのか」という問いが込められている。そしてその旅路の中で、生命や存在の連鎖は絶えず続いていく。
静けさを帯びたモノクロームの画面の中に、時間の蓄積と人間の存在の軌跡が刻まれている。

“Divine Comedy” was inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.
The composition is built from countless fragments layered and intersecting across the surface, each holding different textures and tonal variations. The monochrome palette contains opposing conditions within it — light and darkness, order and chaos, hope and uncertainty.
Each fragment can be seen as a landscape or experience encountered throughout life, reflecting layers of time through which human beings continue to move and transform. Though divided by lines, the elements are never fully separated, remaining connected within a larger continuous flow.
As suggested by the title, the work asks where human beings are moving toward as they pass through different states and landscapes. Within that journey, the chain of life and existence continues without end.
Within the quiet monochromatic surface, traces of accumulated time and human presence remain embedded.
