This work is inspired by the line from Japan’s national anthem Kimigayo:
“May the pebbles grow into a great rock, covered with moss.”

Small stones gradually gather over time, eventually forming a single rock.
It can be seen as a symbol of peace built slowly through the accumulation of time.

In a world still marked by division and conflict, this work was created as a quiet reflection on peace.
The many fragments coming together suggest the passage of time through which something enduring can emerge.
