「Broken, yet still golden」シリーズでは、
鮮やかな色面の上を金色の線が走り、画面を断片的な形へと分断している。
それらの線は装飾ではなく、断絶の痕跡として現れている。
人それぞれが抱える痛みや記憶と響き合いながら、現代社会に見られるさまざまな断絶のかたちを映し出している。
一度壊れたものは、完全に元の状態へ戻ることはない。
しかしその亀裂の中には、なお残るものがある。
価値や尊厳、消えていない何か光る存在。
金の線はその断絶をなぞりながら、壊れた中に確かに残っているものを浮かび上がらせる。
