本個展のために制作されたロングスリーブシャツ。

コンセプト

胸元の「Forbidden Fruit」は、人類が知識を得た瞬間を象徴している。
禁断の果実によって人は欲望を持ち、世界を理解し支配できる存在であるかのように振る舞うようになった。砕け散った果実は、その歴史と人間の欲望を示している。

背面の「Seasons」は植物の葉をモチーフに、春夏秋冬の循環を表している。
人間は自然を支配していると思いがちだが、自然は人間の意思とは関係なく、より大きな時間の中で静かに循環し続けている。

人間の欲望と自然の雄大な時間。
二つのイメージは、その対比を示している。

A long sleeve shirt created for Shinjiro Tanaka’s exhibition.

Concept

The chest print “Forbidden Fruit” symbolizes the moment humanity acquired knowledge.
Through the forbidden fruit, humans developed desire and began to act as though they could understand and dominate the world. The shattered fruit reflects this history of ambition and desire.

The back print “Seasons” depicts plant leaves representing the cycle of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
While humans often believe they control nature, nature continues its quiet cycles within a far greater span of time.

Together, these two images contrast human desire with the vast rhythm of nature.
